Anonymous asked: it sounds so fucking arrogant when you call yourself pretty like that lmao
But I am pretty look at me im so pretty it’s not arrogance when it’s literally just a fact im so pretty
SO PRETTY!!!!! ME!!! IM PRETTY!!! IM A PRETTY PRETTY GIRL!!!!
I like this.
If a man tells you you’re pretty, it’s supposed to be this amazing gift you cherish forever.
If you tell a man you’re pretty, you’re a horrible, shallow, awful person and it isn’t true.
First of all:
Legally, anyone who is underage cannot give consent. Ever.
Also, anyone who is drunk cannot give consent.
In May, I heard rumours about Jason (VeeOneEye) and an underage girl. This was all very hush-hush among a group of people. These were rumours and I did not seek proof. Instead, I made it clear that I didn’t want him at our wedding. Jason is not someone I consider a friend; we’ve never actually had a conversation before.
In not finding out from Jason or his close friends what the truth of these rumours was, Brian and myself were allowed to be ignorant. We acted in a cowardly way because doing so is easier.
There is a large group of people in the YouTube community who were party to these rumours. The British YouTube community rests upon a large rug, under which much unacceptable behaviour is swept.
If, as adults in this community we are going to ignore rumours, the least we can do when proof comes out, is believe what we are hearing, publicly support the brave girls and women coming forward, and completely detach ourselves from that person.
If we’re going to treat YouTube as a job, how about we start acting how we would in a professional environment. I don’t care if you continue to be friends with these people in your own time, but we cannot support their Youtube careers. They abused their positions of power, they broke the law, and no amount of excuses changes that.
I’m sorry that I endangered people who I usually spend my time trying to keep safe by not speaking out.
If a YouTuber who you consider yourself a fan of wants to have sex with you, you should not be flattered; you should be concerned.
You do not know your favourite Youtubers.
If anybody wants to talk about anything relating to these words, know that my ask box and email are always open, but also know that professional advice and guidance is always best.
Also, these conversations should not be happening solely on Twitter and Tumblr and I hope to take them to YouTube soon, but at the minute I’m feeling a bit out of love with that site.
Thanks for reading.
